One of our favorite weekends of the soccer season is almost here, and we’re inviting the entire Hillsdale community to come out to Centennial Field and be part of it!

💙 BOYS TOURNAMENT — Sunday, September 27

🩷 GIRLS TOURNAMENT — Saturday, October 3
⏰ Soccer starts at 9:00 AM both days!

We’ll have soccer action all day long, with our Hillsdale players competing alongside teams from throughout the PVYSL.

⚽️💚 LET’S SUPPORT PV GIRLS SOCCER! 💚⚽️

The Pascack Valley Girls Varsity Soccer season is almost here, and we’d love to see our HSA families out there supporting the Panthers this fall!

There is a really special connection between the PV Girls Soccer program and Hillsdale Soccer. Coach Leah Jerome has been a tremendous supporter of our girls’ program for years, and several current PV players give back to our younger athletes by coaching and helping with our HSA recreational and indoor travel programs.

These are the players our young girls can watch, and then see back on the field helping coach them. That’s exactly the kind of connection we want to continue building. 💚

📅 Save the date: Saturday, September 26, YOUTH SOCCER DAY!
This is always one of the best games of the year for our younger players. HSA girls will have the opportunity to be part of the varsity game-day experience, including joining the team for the pregame huddle, walking onto the field with the varsity players, and cheering on PV from up close!

For our younger athletes, it’s a chance to see where the game can take them — and to share the field with players they look up to and, in many cases, already know from HSA.

The full PV schedule is below. Games shown in GREEN are home games, so pick a day, bring the girls(and boys,) wear your HSA/PV green and come support the Panthers!

And make sure September 26th is circled on the calendar! More details about Youth Soccer Day will be coming as we get closer.

Night ✌️ of HSA Fall Mini Camps! ⚽️🚁

There’s something pretty awesome about seeing it all from above.

Fields full of players. Coaches working with the kids. Teammates getting to know each other. And a whole lot of soccer happening right here in Hillsdale.

Our Mini Camps are all about getting the kids back on the field, shaking off the summer rust, building some confidence, and getting everyone ready for the season ahead.

Two nights down, and we’re just getting started. 💪⚽️

A huge thank you to our trainers, coaches, volunteers, parents, and especially all of our players for making these nights such a success.

🚨 HSA LEADERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

After much thought and consideration, current HSA Vice President Lou Casale has decided to step down from his position to pursue a lifelong dream of developing 100% sustainable, locally sourced soccer balls made entirely from recycled shin guards and orange slices. ⚽️🍊

While Lou's leadership will certainly be missed, HSA President Kevin Sullivan wasted no time identifying his replacement.

Please join us in welcoming the new Vice President of the Hillsdale Soccer Association — pictured here alongside President Sullivan.

His qualifications are impressive:

⚽️ Never misses a game
⚽️ Outstanding sideline presence
⚽️ Always has his arms up encouraging the kids
⚽️ Has never once complained about a referee
⚽️ Will work every tournament for nothing more than access to a power outlet
⚽️ And, perhaps most importantly, he agrees with absolutely everything Kevin says

⚽ WHAT A GREAT NIGHT TO KICK OFF OUR FALL SEASON! ⚽

Last night was our first night of our Mini Camps, and it was awesome seeing so many of our players back out on the fields, working hard, learning, and—most importantly—having fun!
These Mini Camps are all about giving our players some extra touches on the ball, helping them knock off the summer rust, and getting them ready and excited for the season ahead. A huge thank you to our trainers, coaches, volunteers, and parents who helped make Night 1 such a success!

And this is just the beginning. 🙌

We have another night of Mini Camps tonigh, followed by practices, games, and one of our favorite parts of the Fall season—our Mid-Season Tournaments! 🏆⚽

We can't wait to see these fields packed with our players all season long.

🍂⚽ Getting Ready for Fall Soccer! ⚽🍂

The Fall season is almost here, and over the weekend a group of our volunteer board members, along with some pretty awesome young helpers, spent the day at Centennial getting everything ready for our players and coaches!

Coaches’ bags were checked, cleaned out and restocked with everything they’ll need for the season, including soccer balls, ref flags, pinnies, cones and other equipment. We also refreshed our first aid kits and spent time cleaning and reorganizing the Centennial shed so our coaches can easily find what they need throughout the season.

And one of the best parts of the day? Many of our board members brought their kids along to help. They sorted equipment, pumped up soccer balls, carried gear and, of course, found some time to get out on the pitch and play a little soccer themselves. ❤️⚽

There is a lot that happens behind the scenes before the first whistle ever blows, and days like today are a great reminder of what makes our soccer community special. Parents volunteering their time, kids pitching in, and everyone working together to make sure our players have a great experience.

The fields are looking great. The equipment is ready. The coaches are getting ready.

Fall soccer is almost here, and we can’t wait to see everyone back on the pitch! 🍂⚽🙌

⚽️ HSA Mini Camps Are Almost Here! ⚽️

The countdown to the Fall soccer season is officially on!

Join us for our FREE HSA Mini Camps at Centennial Field as we get all of our players excited, confident, and game-day ready for the season ahead!

📅 Mini Camp Dates: Monday, August 24 & Tuesday, August 25 🌧️ Rain Dates: Wednesday, August 26 & Thursday, August 27

⏰ Schedule (both days): ⚽ Grades 1 & 2: 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM ⚽ Grades 3 & Up: 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Whether your child is returning for another season or lacing up their cleats for the very first time, our incredible professional trainers will help them shake off the rust, build confidence, sharpen their skills, and have an absolute blast getting ready for opening day!

*These mini camps are only for children who are registered for the Fall season of soccer. If your child is not already officially registered they will not be allowed to attend/participate.

What to Bring:
✅ Cleats ✅ Shin Guards ✅ Plenty of Water 😁 We'll take care of the rest!

📣 Coaches: If you've volunteered to coach this season, we strongly encourage you to attend! It's a fantastic opportunity to observe drills, coaching techniques, and practice ideas that you can use throughout the season with your team.

We can't wait to see hundreds of HSA players back on the fields, reconnecting with teammates, meeting new friends, and kicking off another amazing Fall season!

Thanks to PV Varsity Head Coach Leah Jerome, we're working to have a current Pascack Valley High School girls soccer player serving as an assistant coach on every girls team.

Last year, having PV players coaching our younger athletes created an incredible amount of excitement. Our girls had the opportunity to learn from talented high school players, build relationships with amazing role models, and see firsthand what they can aspire to as they continue playing. It's an experience that makes our program truly special.

Whether your child is brand new to soccer or has been playing for years, there's a place for them in HSA.
