We are formally a dog hunting club that was located in Hinesville Ga. The club was established in 1938 and sold in 2024 for development.
We promoted ethical hunting practices and fellowship.

It felt good to get together with some of the old members today. I never realized what a good group of members we had until you don’t have them to hunt with anymore. Everyone has moved on to new clubs but there will never be another Hacks pasture or a better group of people to hunt with. I sure miss what we had.

Yesterday was opening day. It was a sad day not to be down at Hacks running one. Sure did miss everyone especially Wendell cooking breakfast... My dogs didn't do that great yesterday I think they are depressed from not being at Hacks too.... Hope everyone has a great season at your new clubs.

The end of an era. 1938-2024.
Just a reminder that June 8th we will be having our last get together at the club. All members past and present are welcome to come. Current members we will be there all day working on getting deer stand and what not picked up. For those coming to the get together. We will be at the club house around 6.
Hacks was established in 1938. As of 2024 the club has been sold. The new owner has no plans to renew our lease. On June 8 th we will have our final
Get together at the club. We would like to extend and invite to all current members and past members who would like to attend. We will eat about 6 and have a bon fire at dark.
We will have barbecue pork and grilled chicken. If you plan to attend please let me know.
It will be a sad day for our club.
Also all members need to work on getting their deer stand and feeders out.
Just wanted to let all the members know that the owners and buyers have decided not to renew our lease this year. We still have all rights to the club until September 30th. With that being said the director's are going to have a meeting and try to plan a farewell cook out. If you have any questions feel free to contact me or any of the directors.

Just a heads up. As of yesterday we have a beaver trapper in the club taking care of our beavers. Keep a eye out for him if your in there messing around.
