At Landmine, some folks chase podiums, some chase Strava segments…and some of us chase spreadsheets. If you’re the latter, hopefully you enjoy this data snapshot of the day.

Also, you’ll now find bonus reports on splits, overall rank by distance (i.e. Cat 1 and Cat 2 are both 25 miles, so included in one analysis), and overall rank by distance and gender with the Overall Results at https://my.raceresult.com/355322

For the Splits report, the split distances are as follows:

Visitor Center - located at mile 5.6 for Cat 1, 2, and 3.

E1 Trailhead - located at mile 10 for Cat 1, 2, and 3 and mile 4.7 for Cat 4.

E2 Trailhead - located at mile 23 for Cat 1 and 2.

S27 Trailhead - located 0.2 miles from the finish line for Cat 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Please note that the tracker boxes at splits are designed to give the timing tent live updates, but they aren’t the same as the official timing system. Occasionally they may miss a chip read.

𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝘄𝗼 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁! This year, as you make your way around the course, you’ll be guided by pink flags and tape on the trails, along with pink sticker arrows, tape, and cones on the pavement. For those pre-riding, you can download maps of the courses here: https://www.landminemtb.com/

We’ll begin marking the course with pink flags over Labor Day weekend. Use these flags as your guide. The tape will be added for race day only. Please note that, due to permit requirements, we will not be stapling arrows to trees this year, so flags, pavement arrows, and tape will be your primary course markers.

Like prior years, at course splits, follow the signs that match your number plate’s color: Cat 1 and Cat 2 riders will follow orange signs for the 25-mile course, Cat 3 riders will follow blue signs for the 11.8-mile course, Cat 4 riders will follow green signs for the 6.8-mile course, and Cat 5 riders will follow a red signs for the 3.3-mile course.

Marshals will be stationed at each split to assist, but knowing your color and distance ahead of time will make things much smoother.
