🔥 Congratulations to Rowan Waldrop of K-1 Auburn on being named the Middle Valley Youth Association Player of the Week! 🏈

Rowan had an incredible game with:
🏈 4 Touchdowns
🚩 5 Flag Pulls
💪 1 Game-Saving Flag Pull

That game-saving play came on the 5-yard line when Rowan chased down the opposing player on the very last play of the game, running nearly the entire length of the field to make the flag pull and preserve the victory! 👏🔥

What an effort, Rowan! Your hustle, determination, and never-give-up attitude are exactly what MVYA football is all about!

📢 IMPORTANT SCHEDULE UPDATE — SATURDAY GAMES

Due to the extreme heat expected this Saturday, we are making adjustments to our game schedule to ensure the safety of all of our athletes. 🏈☀️

Games will ONLY be played during the following times:
• 9:00 AM
• 10:00 AM
• 11:00 AM

🚨 12:00 PM & 1:00 PM games will NOT be played this Saturday.

Those games will be rescheduled for a later date and made up throughout the remainder of the season. No games will be lost.

This decision was made in accordance with TSSAA heat-related rules and guidelines and, most importantly, with the safety and well-being of our players in mind.

We know schedule changes can be inconvenient, especially on short notice, and we sincerely appreciate the patience and understanding of our coaches, players, and families.

Thank you for helping us put the safety of our kids first! ❤️🏈

We’ll collect your gently used sports items, then open it up for families to come grab what they need! No more letting perfectly good cleats, gloves, balls, equipment, and gear sit in the garage. 😉

We’re looking for volunteers who would be happy to help with:

📣 MVYA Flag Football Evaluation Reminder! 🏈

This evaluation is ONLY for players who were unable to attend the first evaluation. If your child already attended the first evaluation, you do not need to attend again.

Our next player evaluation will be held today on Sunday, August 9th from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the MVYA Football Field.

⏰ Evaluation Schedule:
🏈 2:00 PM – Kindergarten / 1st Grade
🏈 2:30 PM – 2nd / 3rd Grade
🏈 3:00 PM – 4th / 5th Grade
🏈 3:30 PM – Middle School & High School

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and be ready to go.
