Please come out and support our brothers and sisters who have been locked out for over four months. Please note that this is not a political platform for any election; it is strictly to support the families of the workers who are locked out.

Solidarity is more than a word—it’s action.

On August 8th, we’re hosting a fundraiser to support our USW 7-1 brothers and sisters who have now been locked out for nearly four months. More details and an official flyer will be announced soon.

We’re asking our union family, local businesses, and community supporters to stand with these workers by donating items for raffle baskets, gift cards, or other raffle prizes. Every donation will help provide support to our brothers and sisters as they continue to stand strong on the picket line in the fight for a fair contract.

If you would like to donate, please contact me directly or reach out to the USW 7-1 Union Hall.

This is what the labor movement is all about—showing up for one another when it matters most. An injury to one is an injury to all. Thank you for standing in solidarity with our USW 7-1 family.

CALL TO ACTION

Our affiliate, USW 7-1, remains locked out by British Petroleum, and we cannot forget our brothers and sisters who continue to stand strong on the picket line. They still need our support now more than ever.

If you are able, please consider volunteering your time on the picket line or making a donation to help these families who have now gone more than 60 days without a paycheck. This company is making record profits while continuing to attack fair wages, benefits, and the dignity of working men and women.

We must stand united against union busting in our region. Our communities were built on the backs of hardworking union men and women. Union members are the backbone of our neighborhoods — they coach youth sports, support local businesses, sponsor community organizations, and help keep our towns strong.

Enough is enough. We cannot allow corporations to profit off the labor of working families while trying to strip them of the very protections and benefits they have earned. If you need proof of the profits being made, look no further than the prices at the gas pump.

Please continue to support USW 7-1 in any way you can. Reach out to your local elected officials — from city and town leaders to county and state representatives — and urge them to publicly stand with these workers and support our efforts.

Solidarity matters, and now is the time to stand together.

In Solidarity
