A 9-run second inning fueled Hobart to an 11-0 win at U.S. Steel Yard!

Ashton Oglesby earned the win with 2⅓ hitless innings, Mayson Hardison pitched 1 2/3 innings of scoreless ball, and John Jillson picked up the save. Maximus Cantu and Skylar Cicillian each had two hits as the Railcats totaled 8 stolen bases and played error-free defense.

Hobart opened the 2026 District 1 Wooden Bat Tournament with a 4-1 win over SPLL!

John Jillson led the offense with an inside-the-park home run and 2 RBIs. Nick Spain earned the win after throwing 5 hitless innings with 9 strikeouts, and Fabian Adame picked up the save.

A great all-around team effort to start the tournament!
