A man can love you and still not choose you.
Love and commitment are not the same thing.
Sometimes choosing you means going against his family’s wishes. Sometimes it means accelerating a timeline he’s not ready to accelerate. Sometimes it means merging assets, changing his lifestyle, making sacrifices, or deciding that you’re the woman he wants to raise children with.
And sometimes, as painful as it is, he simply doesn’t see you as his wife.
There are a million reasons why a man can love you and still not marry you.
But here’s what I want women to understand: His reasons don’t change your reality.
You can spend years trying to understand why a man won’t choose you, or you can accept that love without commitment may never give you the future you want.
