Hoboken USY (HOBUSY) is a part of the United Synagogue of Hoboken in Hoboken, NJ. USY is a teen led program where we plan programs created by you.
Where else can you play monster golf one month, volunteer at a shelter the next, and go on a scavenger hunt around Hoboken after joining in on a special Havdallah service with your peers? Come meet new friends, hang out with old ones and plan programs that are important to YOU. USY doesn't stop in Hoboken. Want to meet more Jewish teens in New Jersey and beyond? Please join the USYers at their ANNUAL CHOCOLATE SEDER! Thursday, April 24th (During the Tichon class). The event is for teens in 6-12th grade.
The event is free and pizza will be served. Following dinner, the USYers will participate in a seder entirely of chocolate!

It's not too late to attend the USY Late Night this Saturday, March 8th! If you're going to Casino Night, it will be the perfect place for your teens to be!
If your teen is attending, the "packing list" is to bring 1) a blue shirt 2) a white shirt 3) a comforting item such as a stuffed animal, pillow, or small blanket.

Join USY for their next huge event Sunday, January 26th. The teens will start with ICE SKATING in West Orange then participate in a Target scavenger hunt competition where everything will be donated to an organization in Hoboken. The teens will experience and learn about the 8 Rungs of Charity while making lifelong friends. Contact Jaimee Rothenberg for more details.
They are looking for 2 chaperones that are able to drive!
