It was antler cutting time at the farm!

We get a lot of questions about why we do this. So to answer those questions, we do this for their safety and our own. We don’t want them to fight eachother during the rut with these antlers. Also don’t want them to fight the fence with these antlers and get themselves caught up.

It is also safer for us, just incase during the rut something does happen. They are safer to be around with no antlers than they are with huge racks!

If you need a scrape rope check ours out! Comes with everything you need, and it has already been pre-scented by our deer! So all you have to do is order it, and put it out!

Check out our newest spike addition to the farm! Except it’s a doe! She has had a small bump each year, but this year she really grew out!

Big boys are shedding! Won’t be too long and we will have to start cutting the antlers off!

The reason we cut the antlers off is for the animals safety and also our own! We don’t want them to injure themselves or others!
