SEEDING GREENS ON MONDAY, SEPT. 14th. When seeding the front 9 the back 9  will be open and then when we seed the back 9 the front 9 will be open.

Starting SATURDAY, SEPT. 12th Larue County Golf Course will not be allowing 5 somes. Only groups of 4 or less will be allowed.

Larue County Golf Course is not Valhalla or even TPC Sawgrass, but we have spent a substantial amount of money for our small course to provide a better playing experience for your money.
That being said, the 90 degree rule is straightforward for most golfers.
90 degree rule explained…….

That means if your ball is in the fairway, follow the cart path until you’re even with your ball, drive from cart path in a straight line to your ball from cart path, hit your ball and immediately go back towards the cart path the same way you came in the fairway.
This saves the fairways over the long run.
The picture is a prime example of 100 carts a day that drive from beginning to end of the fairway, the fairway will be none existent.
We are here to encourage all new comers to the game, that’s what keeps courses like ours in business.
But we sincerely ask if you’re not sure about the rules of the game, please ask.
100 carts a day driving through mud and going straight up the fairway means next year, no fairways at all.

If you happen to be out on the course and see this New Robot out on the course in the fairways. Don’t be alarmed, it’s not an invasion!
This is a new autonomous mower that is assisting our grounds crews with keeping or fairways mowed up nice and tight for your best playing experience.
I think we might call him Little Kyle, not sure yet.
He will be out mowing while you play and not create any noise in your back swing.
We are Always looking for ways to improve our course for our members and guests.

Here is a new promotional video of our course. We were able to partner with JAM (Jody’s Aerial Media) in order to create a new option for our members and guests.
Each cart will soon be equipped with a QR code to scan and provide players with an aerial hole by hole view of our course. This aerial overview will showcase our hole sponsorships on each hole and provide players with yardages for each of the various tees.
The link is also pinned on our page for everyone to view.
This was a very unique project to provide in order to improve play at our course.
Jody and Amber Thurman were amazing to work with on this project.
We are very appreciative of the professionalism and quality of work they have provided on this project.
