Lewis County’s bid for a state tournament came up short today.
Kayclyn missed a chance to go to state by only 1 shot with a score of 95.
Nolan missed out by 3 shots with a score of 84. River missed out by 5 shots with a score of 86.
Not the end result we were hoping for this season, but hopefully this will light a fire in our underclassmen for next year and keep working hard in the offseason.
They grinded until the very end on a tough Ross Creek golf course and I’m proud of the effort these 3 gave today!

That’s a wrap on another middle school golf season! It sure has been the hottest golf season that I can remember. This team has improved a lot this year and I’m proud to be their coach!
Huge shoutout to this year’s boys Fall Classic low medalist Carter Creasy! Carter shot an impressive 1 over par 37. The boys team came away with a 4th place finish while the girls finished 3rd.
Today, we also honored our 8th graders Karlee, Lyla, Makena, Tayte, and Trey. We are definitely going to miss these 8th graders next season. Let’s work hard during the off season and come back even stronger next year!

Good luck to these middle school golfers competing in the Fall Classic this morning!

Congratulations to Nolan, River, and Kayclyn for advancing to the Region Tournament today as individuals!
Nolan made the turn tied for the lead today after a -1 under par 35 opening 9. He managed to hang in there on the back 9 to shoot a 78 and finished as 4th medalist for the district tournament.
River had to battle it out in a 4 way playoff with a score of 92 for the 5th and final spot to advance to region. After going 3 playoff holes, River managed to win the playoff and advance to region.
Kayclyn posted a 109 on the girl’s side to be the 2nd qualifier out of 5 as an individual.
Proud of this bunch for battling the heat and a tough Ross Creek course today!
The region tournament will be back at Ross Creek on Monday, September 28.
