Dance teaches so much more than pliés and pirouettes. ❤️

Especially during the first week, sometimes the biggest lessons are learning to go with the flow: a different studio, a new teacher, a schedule adjustment, a last-minute change of plans. Learning to adapt, stay positive, and keep dancing through it all.

And we’ve been SO proud watching our dancers do exactly that this week. They’ve walked into every change with excitement, kindness, flexibility, and the best attitudes.

A special little shoutout to our team dancers, who are asked to adapt A LOT and somehow always seem to roll with it. 🥹

Some familiar faces, some brand new ones… and THREE reasons to be excited! ⭐️🩵

We’re so excited to introduce three additions to our SSPA teaching staff this season! Some you may already know and love, and some you’ll be getting to know very soon — but all three bring something special to our studio and our dancers.

We can’t wait for you to see them shine in this new role. 🖤

Gabrielle Kent is an NYC-based performing artist originally from Holden, Massachusetts. She began her dance training locally before continuing her education at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy, earning an Associate’s degree in Dance Theater, followed by a BFA in Dance Performance and Education from Dean College.

Gabrielle currently serves as adjunct faculty at Dean College, teaching Jazz and Tap. Her professional experience spans dance, theater, film, television, modeling, and corporate entertainment, with credits including The Great Gatsby Las Vegas, performances with Doja Cat, New York Fashion Week, Rumbamena Dance Company, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Sony Pictures’ Madame Web.

Allie Clarke is a dancer and photographer from North Attleborough, Massachusetts. She has been dancing for 18 years and grew up training at Stephanie Kemp’s New England Dance Academy, where her passion for dance began. Allie currently attends Worcester State University, where she studies Communications and is a member of the Worcester State Dance Team.
Outside of dance, Allie runs her own photography business, specializing in portraits and dance photography.

Zaylie Whiteman is a proud SSPA alum and a recent 2026 graduate of Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School. After years of being a familiar and much-loved face at SSPA, we are so excited to welcome her into a new role as an instructor!

Throughout her time at the studio, Zaylie has become a true crowd favorite and an important part of the SSPA family. She has spent years assisting in classes, working with younger dancers, and growing into an incredible role model both inside and outside the studio. Her dedication, leadership, and ability to connect with our dancers have made her a sta

And just like that… we’re home again. 🥹❤️

Our dancers work hard all summer long from Team Intensive and new choreography to summer camps and classes…but there’s just nothing like having everyone back under one roof.

The studio finally feels alive again! We missed the little arabesques across the room, tapping toes filling the halls, music coming from every studio, big hugs between friends, teachers counting “5, 6, 7, 8,” and dancers doing what they love most.

Season 17, it feels so good to have you home. ❤️

2 weeks ago we had the most fabulous and adorable addition to our dance fam! Welcome to the craziness Ms. Andi Cronin. ❤️ New mama Ms. Sarah is already crushing motherhood and we are so happy for her and Drew. Andi already has the best teammates (shout out Baby Breea!) and even more to come! 👶🏼

In honor of the first day of Nationals, we’re celebrating our seniors as they take their last last. 💛✨

This week marks the final time they’ll step onto a competition stage with their solos, their duos, and their teams. The final backstage hugs, final pep talks, final awards, and final moments doing what they’ve loved for so many years alongside the people who’ve grown up beside them.

We’re soaking in every second and cheering them on a little louder this week.⭐️ We love you, seniors. Now go make these last performances unforgettable.
