The manufacturing trend is to indicate to customers exactly what an ammo line is meant for in whatever is the most popular game the caliber might be used on. No surprise that whitetail ends up at the top of the list. Hunters didn’t used to need photos on the boxes to prompt them, now they do apparently. Lots of .350 Legend in stock here now, the most anywhere!

At the Pennsylvania Cartridge Collector show in Reinholds, PA today. Plenty of good stuff of all sorts here. Picked up a “Smokey Sagger” simulated rocket and some rare 9mm penetrators among other things. The Holden store is meanwhile open for normal hours.

Finally got that Muzzleloading section stocked up! Right under the cowboy ammo, with a little bit of everything for everyone, and a very good selection of round ball too. The only things I’m missing are some Re*****on Ultimate MZ primed-cases, 4-wing musket caps, and some Alliant Blue MZ pellets. And no, I will not be carrying Blackhorn 209, it is out of control expensive and I protest this. I don’t carry any real B.P., just the substitutes.

Some fresh 7N6 5.45x39 30rd packs will be coming back soon to Downeast Ammo! These 30rd packs of Soviet steel core are considered a good get for U.S. AK-74 operators these days, and our price will basically match the current retail market low at $17.59 per 30rd. The 30rd lead core Azerbaijani TelAmmo stuff sells for more than that, virtually everywhere online. This stuff will be high quality Russian 1979 Novosibirsk Arsenal-2, fresh from the cans. No full 1080rd cans available, that’s Gunbroker stuff. Random similar online photo of the goods:
