Today marked the bittersweet end of our 2026 season.

Thank you to everyone who supported Holdrege Baseball throughout the summer. Your encouragement, generosity, and time meant so much to our players, coaches, and families.

For most of our boys, it’s a “see you next season.” But for our two true seniors, Landon Hartzog and Nicholas Taylor, this chapter comes to a close. Thank you for being such an important part of our Holdrege Baseball family. It has been a privilege to watch you grow both on and off the field, and we can’t wait to see what your future holds.

Once a member of the Holdrege Baseball family, always a member. We wish you both nothing but the very best. ⚾️💙

Heading into Day 1 of the Senior State Tournament, Holdrege Baseball is making history by becoming the first program since 1979 to have both it’s Junior and Senior teams qualify for state in the same season.

Coach Ellis said this morning that one word perfectly describes this team: resilient. There couldn’t be a better way to sum up this group. They’ve faced adversity all season and have continued to fight, grow, and believe in each other.

We’re just 20 minutes from first pitch. The boys looked sharp during warmups, they’re locked in, and they’re ready to battle.

Let’s Go Holdrege!!! 💙⚾️

This last week we hosted senior area tournament during the Phelps County Fair! Both events went off without a hitch, but amongst the chaos I love seeing our beautiful field in the background! I want to take this opportunity to say huge thank you to everyone; our board members, coaches, Green Landscapes, Rich Watson, team members who field prep, sponsors, players, parents, and so many other volunteers, you all made this year another successful year! We couldn’t be more proud or grateful with how this year went for Holdrege Baseball Inc and it’s not even over yet!
