Untitled 16”x30”. Finished this work a while ago, but recently sold it, and just finished framing it today. Made the frame out of reclaimed ash stained “true black”, which really highlighted the grain and complemented the texture of the piece really well. This was a new framing process for me, and I’m pleased with the results.
Still making art, however I work at my own pace, working on pieces between building boards. With that said, I have a multitude of works started that really should see the finish line sooner than later as they have accumulated over the last several years. Might need to have a show 🤔 Thanks for reading through! 🤙

A very quick look back on 2025 with a few highlights. It was a year of growth and pushing forward with a big project for a Margaritaville hotel, and the launching of We managed to get a decent number of boards out into the wild as well! It can be easy for me to not see growth while I’m grinding in the day to day responsibilities of this Migration project/experiment. Building boards far away from the industry hubs creates a whole set of unique challenges. But we believe deeply in the brand we’re creating and the community we’re serving. Migration remains an uncommon brand from an unlikely place, and we have YOU to thank for inspiring us and keeping us going. Here’s to more growth, more waves, and deepening community as we celebrate the Wind, Water, and Wild of these lakes we call home! 🍻🤙🩵

Owning that I’ve been TERRIBLE about posting boards this fall/winter, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy! Two customs... a unique “mini” 8’6” noserider for Ben and a custom 9’6” Grebe for Daniel. Had a few more I forgot to snag pics of against the door.
Working on more customs at the moment before we pivot for the remainder of the winter to work on a few stock boards and begin finalizing production of our wooden bodysurfing craft for 😉 Hoping to release the full lineup early summer 🤞 Stay tuned! Hoping to finish some original art pieces this winter as well. And if you’ve read this far, we keep stocking Migration Supply with more goods! Go check them out! We’re staying busy, and grateful for the support! 🤙😎

An “oldie” but a favorite of mine… I made this art piece “November” back in 2019, and I think it will always ring true. Caught between fall and winter, warmth and cold, bold colors and stark monotones, joyous celebration and reflective loneliness; November releases this tension through raging winds and storm systems that have been immortalized in Great Lakes lore. With the 50th anniversary of the sinking of the Edmund Fitzgerald just a few days away, it feels right to celebrate the beauty that the “gales of November” release. Happy November everyone! May you embrace the tension and beauty of the in-between 🌊

Current color palette in the shop 😎 Hope you’re finding a sheltered wave today! Straight west winds over here on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan making everything victory at sea. But I know where I’d be exploring if I had the chance 😉 Happy hunting y’all! Stay safe! 🍁🤙

9’6” stock Harrier in what I’ll call “storm cloud blue” I guess 🤷♂️😅 This board is SOLD and being picked up tomorrow! If you so slept on this one, I DO still have an unglassed 9’2” Harrier up for grabs. Gonna start glassing that one in a yellow tint later this week, unless some claims it and wants a different color 😉 HMU if that’s you, and I can probably finish it in 2-3 weeks time.
And thanks for all your support lately! This has been my busiest summer in a while, and I appreciate the work! Working hard to get through the custom boards to get you all in the water this fall! Thanks for your continued patience 🤙
And if you’re all set on boards at the moment, but still love and support what we do, we’d love if you grabbed some gear from ! Surf season is coming and we’re excited!
