This Jerry Mathew-designed public course features three 9-hole courses. All 27 holes are well groomed with tree lined fairways, sand traps, ponds and creeks. Our practice facility consists of a large range and two chipping and putting greens. Gift certificates, punch cards and discount memberships are available. Thanks to all who attended this event, and for those that attended any of our other couple’s nights this season. It’s always our pleasure to host and we delight in bringing you all together for a whimsical, laid back night of fun-centered golf with friends. We look forward to next season and will be publishing our 2027 dates soon.

Winners for the night included Team Last Hurrah on flame, Team Big T’s on smoke, and two winners on Blaze: Team Bosma Bros and Team Roughin the Putter.

The night ended with some special raffle prizes headlined by a custom made 3Fires football. Whether you’re teeing up a Titleist or a pigskin, Happy Fall All!

Yesterday, September 2, was the last hurrah in 2026 for some of the nicest golfers in the sport-the Wildfire Ladies. This Wednesday morning group shows up weekly with enthusiasm for the game of golf and for each other.

We’ll miss this happy group, their camaraderie, and their contagious smiles. Until next year ladies, thanks for brightening our summer and we look forward to seeing you all next year. For those interested in becoming a “Wildfire”, contact us and we’ll put you in touch with this amazing group.

Laid Back Couple’s Golf Finale, this Friday, Aug 21

Friday’s theme: Are You Ready for Some Football - A Friday Night Party!

This Friday, sport your team’s colors, jerseys, tees, caps or anything supporting your favorite squad as we celebrate the Great American Game of Football and the start of the season.  NFL, college, high school or p*e wee, anything goes. Or show up in golf attire and we’ll create the atmosphere for you. Expect casual, fun golf with a twist of football and a soundtrack showcasing some songs to pump you up.

Registration begins at 4:30pm and so does service from one of our favorite food trucks - StrEATs Taco Kitchen. You may choose to dine before or after golf.  Play begins at 6pm and you may bring your own team of 6 golfers or come as a couple and we’ll find you teammates for the night. Carts available for the first 200 guests.

As this is our last Laid Back Couple’s Golf event of the season, we have some surprises in store (trick plays) and exciting challenges (4th and goal) to help you enjoy your evening. And, if you like to laugh, our Hot Slots human slot machine is back to entertain (touchdown!).  We even have some special raffles at the end of the evening, including one of our custom-made Wilson Three Fires footballs (pictured).

We hope to see you Friday for a fun-filled night of golf and football-themed activities. Shoulder pads and eye black not required but certainly appreciated😃.

Rick Van Laar from our Tri-City League aced the 115 yard Flame #2 hole last night. This was no ordinary ace, however. As it was the last night of League, the group decided to play a 3 club, 4 person scramble, just for kicks. On the par 3 #2 hole, Rick was faced with a difficult club decision. From 115 yards, he hit driver. Congratulations, Rick, on your “unordinary” hole-in-one!

Karen Cook from Hudsonville visited 3Fires for the first time yesterday (8/11). As it turns out, it wasn’t Karen’s only first of the day.

On Blaze #15, Karen hit a pure 8 iron from 103 yards that danced into the hole for her first ever hole-in-one. Congratulations on your remarkable shot, Karen.

The “firsts” didn’t end there as Karen used her First Tee player card at check-in. Certainly, a day of firsts!

3Fires Laid Back Couples Night Wrap Up:

Last Friday, Aug 7, was a homerun of a night at 3Fires with both our baseball theme and Laid Back golf.

Beautiful weather and enthusiastic baseball fans contributed to a winning night! Sweet Racks Smokin' Butts BBQ hit it out of the park and “Hot Slots” tripled often 😊!

We don’t always play to win, but when we do, we crown our champs. On Flame, first-time participants, the Haackers won by 2 runs (points). IDK squeaked out a victory on Blaze, and the story of the night belonged to Caddy Issues as they repeated as champions, going back-to-back by winning the last 2 events.

Congrats to all our winners, all who participated and for everyone contributing to a fun and friendly atmosphere.

We’re looking forward to our final Couple’s Night on Aug 21. Hint – are you ready for some football?

Hi all, Couple’s Golf is back this Friday, and our theme is the Great American Pastime, Baseball. Come as you are in golf attire or represent your favorite ball club: Little League, High School, College, or Major League. Consider team colors, baseball hats, or jerseys. Extra kudos for pants with stirrups😊.
 
Play begins at 6PM and sign-in begins at 4:30PM. Come as a full squad of 6 or as a couple and we will get you teamed up.
 
Sweet Racks and Smokin’ Butts Food Truck is back turning a perfect double play, BBQ and golf! They will begin serving between 4:30-5pm and will be with us all night until 10pm. Eat before as a pregame meal or dine after play.
 
This week, the 3Fires “Hot Slots” is back! Featuring prizes and fun for all, you may even win a chance for your team to move up to a special tee closer to the green. Eagles and Birdies are calling!
 
Our soundtrack is comprised of some iconic baseball songs bringing back old memories for some of us and making new ones for others. On course games will feature Baseball-themed contests and you’ll have ample opportunities to “hit it out of the park”.
 
Carts are available for the first 200 guests, or you may elect to walk. What better way to celebrate a summer night – Baseball and Golf!
