đš SHOCKING TRUTH: Your Treadmill Might Be Making You FAT. đ±đ©
Okay, okay⊠not "literally". But hear me out. đ
You canât outrun a bad diet, and you definitely canât âcardio awayâ that weekly nacho binge. 𫣠I said what I said.
Hereâs the truth no one wants to tell you:
âĄïž 1 hour of jogging = maybe 400-600 calories burned.
âĄïž 1 "healthy" smoothie from your favorite cafe = 600-900 calories.
So, what should you ACTUALLY be doing?
đ„ Strength training 3x a week
đł Eating real food
đŽ Sleeping like itâs your side hustle
đ« Not relying on the treadmill like itâs your therapist
Fitness isnât punishment, itâs power. And you donât have to be miserable to get results. You just need the right plan, a little grit, and maybe someone to yell (lovingly) at you. đȘđ
Drop a đïžââïž if you're ready to train smarter, not harder, and yes, still enjoy tacos.
Letâs goooo!
No more âIâll start tomorrow.â Todayâs the day. Move your body, boost your mood, and remind yourself what youâre capable of.
You donât need a gym membership or the perfect workout plan. Just start. Go for a walk, do some pushups, dance around your living room⊠whatever gets you moving!
Energy creates energy. Get up and get after it!
Youâll feel better. Youâll move better. And most of all, youâll be PROUD of yourself.
Letâs make today count!
Just wanted to check in with everyone. Whatâs something youâre working on right now when it comes to your health, fitness, or nutrition?
Whether itâs building strength, eating cleaner, staying consistent, or just taking better care of yourself in general, Iâd love to hear about it.
Whatâs your current goal and what are you doing to get there?
No pressure, just a space to share wins, struggles, routines, or whateverâs been helping you grow lately.
Letâs lift each other up and maybe get inspired along the way.

From a Personal Trainer Who Cares
Letâs talk about weight loss because I know a lot of people are chasing it, and I also know a lot of people feel lost doing it.
Social media has made it harder than ever to know whatâs real and whatâs just made to go viral. Youâre constantly being sold quick fixes, detox teas, unrealistic workout plans, and miracle results that donât actually exist. And the people showing them off? Often genetically gifted, surgically enhanced, or only showing their highlight reel after weeks of cutting and filtering. Thatâs not real life. Thatâs not the standard you should be measuring yourself against.
Hereâs the truth. Being healthy doesnât mean you need abs. It doesnât mean you need to have the biggest arms in the gym or look like a fitness model on Instagram.
Being healthy means being strong enough to live your life. Now and for decades to come.
I want you to be able to lift your kids. I want you to be able to carry groceries without back pain. I want you to get out of a chair with ease at 70. I want you to be able to live independently as long as possible. And that starts with the choices you make today.
Lifting matters. Nutrition matters. Not for aesthetics, but for energy, longevity, and confidence. A strong body is a body that serves you well in every stage of life. Itâs not about being shredded. Itâs about being capable.
You donât need perfection. You need consistency. You need real education. And most of all, you need to give yourself some grace.
If you ever feel overwhelmed by all the conflicting information out there, know this. Youâre not alone. And there are people like me who actually care about helping you do it the right way.
You deserve to feel good in your body. And that starts with learning what really works and letting go of the noise that doesnât.
If your mind feels heavy lately, your body might be the key to lightening the load.
Being active isnât just about looking good. Itâs about feeling alive.
Physical fitness has a direct impact on mental health.
Regular movement has been shown to reduce symptoms of depression, lower anxiety, improve sleep, and boost self-esteem.
It helps people think clearer, feel stronger, and face life with more resilience.
Itâs not about spending hours in the gym.
Itâs about making movement a part of your lifestyle, a walk, a stretch, a workout, anything that gets the body going.
When people move more, they tend to smile more.
Stress levels drop. Confidence rises.
And that shift creates a ripple effect in every area of life.
The body and mind are deeply connected. When one improves, the other follows.
So,, if someone feels stuck, overwhelmed, or mentally exhaustedâŠ
One of the best things they can do is just start moving.
Fitness isnât just physical. Itâs mental. Itâs emotional. Itâs transformational.
Everyone deserves to feel good in their body and strong in their mind.
Keep moving. It matters.
If youâre struggling to find a way to start or just need someone to talk to, Iâm here for you. Feel free to reach out anytime. Iâd be more than happy to help guide you through it.
Going to the gym with my girlfriend has been a game changer.
Thereâs something powerful about having someone by your side who pushes you, supports you, and holds you accountable. Some days, motivation might be low, the body might be sore, or life might feel heavy, but knowing sheâs right there grinding too? That keeps me locked in.
Having a gym partner, whether itâs your significant other, a friend, or even a family member, brings a whole new level of drive to your fitness journey. Hereâs why:
Accountability
Youâre less likely to skip when someoneâs counting on you.
Motivation
You feed off each otherâs energy. When oneâs tired, the other steps up.
Progress together
Watching each other grow, hit PRs, and get stronger is insanely rewarding.
Spotting and safety
Pushing heavy is safer with someone watching your back.
Shared wins
You celebrate the small and big victories together.
Support system
Mental or physical barriers feel lighter when youâre not carrying them alone.
It doesnât have to be your partner. Just someone who believes in you and your goals. This journey is always better when itâs shared.
So find your person. Show up. Stay consistent. Grow together.
A lot of people think cardio is the only way to lose fat, but strength training is just as - if not more - important. Hereâs why:
đ„ It boosts your metabolism. More muscle = more calories burned, even at rest.
đȘ It helps you lose fat without losing muscle. If you only do cardio, you risk burning through muscle too. Strength training keeps you strong and defined.
⥠It keeps burning calories long after your workout. Lifting creates an âafterburnâ effect, meaning you keep torching calories for hours.
𩮠It strengthens bones and joints. This helps with injury prevention and keeps you moving pain-free for the long run.
So if your goal is fat loss, donât skip the weights! A mix of strength training, proper nutrition, and some cardio is the real key to results.
If youâre not sure where to start, shoot me a message - Iâd love to help! đȘ

Taking Back My Life - A Journey of Health, Strength, and Purpose
16 months ago, I was at my lowest - overweight, depressed, and stuck in a cycle that felt impossible to break. I had let my health slip, and it took a toll on every part of my life. But one day, I made the choice to take control. I refused to let my past define my future.
I committed to the process - lifting, eating better, and pushing myself beyond my limits. The weight started to drop, but more importantly, my mindset shifted. I didnât just lose fat - I gained confidence, discipline, and a whole new perspective on what I was capable of.
One of the biggest lessons I learned was that if I wanted better things in life, I had to become better. I had to stop wishing for the right people to show up and instead focus on becoming the kind of person I wanted to attract. And in doing so, I met the most beautiful, incredible woman - my girlfriend - who has been my greatest supporter and motivation. I found someone who matches my energy, my drive, and my love for life, and it never would have happened if I hadnât first worked on myself.
Now, i turned 30 this Sunday, and I can confidently say Iâm in the best shape of my life - physically, mentally, and emotionally. The benefits of this journey have been endless:
â
More energy and strength
â
A clear and focused mind
â
Confidence I never thought possible
â
Better relationships with myself and others
â
A sense of purpose and drive that fuels everything I do
â
Finding the love of my life along the way
If youâre in a place where you feel stuck, know that change is possible. It wonât be easy, but it will be worth it. Take that first step, stay consistent, and watch how everything in your life transforms.
This is just the beginning. The best is yet to come.
Letâs Talk About YOU for a SecondâŠ
Youâve probably tried different workouts. Maybe youâve followed some diet advice from social media. Youâve seen some progress - but not the kind that sticks. And thatâs frustrating.
I get it because Iâve been there too. Thatâs exactly why I became a personal trainer. I know how it feels to want real, lasting change but not know exactly how to get there. And I also know how powerful it is when you finally find a plan that works for YOU.
Iâm looking for 10 people who are ready to stop guessing and start seeing real results. Whether you want to build strength, drop weight, or just feel better in your own skin, Iâm here to help.
This isnât some one-size-fits-all program. Itâs not about quick fixes or unrealistic plans. Itâs about finding what works for YOU - your body, your lifestyle, and your goals.
If youâre tired of starting over, letâs do this the right way. Drop a đȘ in the comments or send me a message, and letâs chat about what you need. No pressure - just a real conversation about how to get you where you want to be.
Are you in?

Invest in Your Health Today
Every healthy choice you make - whether itâs moving your body or fueling it right - paves the way for a vibrant future. I turn 30 this Sunday, and it reminds me how important it is to build strength and energy now so that I can enjoy all the things I love for years to come.
Donât wait for a milestone to prioritize your health. Every step you take is an investment in a happier, more active life. Your future self will thank you.
Why You NEED Lifting Straps in Your Training
If youâre serious about building a stronger, bigger back, lifting straps arenât just an accessory - theyâre a game changer.
A lot of lifters hesitate to use straps because they think itâs âcheatingâ or that itâll weaken their grip. But hereâs the reality: your grip will ALWAYS give out before your back does. That means if youâre relying on your hands to hold the weight, youâre leaving gains on the table.
Hereâs why straps should be in your gym bag:
â
Maximize Back Stimulation â Your back muscles are FAR stronger than your grip. Straps take your hands out of the equation, allowing you to push your back to true failure without your grip giving up first.
â
Lift HEAVIER, Train HARDER â When youâre not limited by grip fatigue, you can load up heavier weights on deadlifts, rows, shrugs, and pull-upsâleading to more strength and size.
â
Reduce Forearm & Grip Fatigue â If youâre doing high-volume back work, your grip will burn out before your lats and traps do. Straps let you get through your workout without sacrificing intensity.
â
Protect Your Joints â Less stress on your wrists and forearms means less strain and fewer overuse injuries. If youâve ever had wrist pain hold you back, straps can be a lifesaver.
This doesnât mean you should never train grip - thereâs a time and place for it. But when it comes to building a bigger, stronger back, straps allow you to train SMARTER, not harder.
If youâre not using them yet, try them out and watch your numbers (and back gains) explode.
Whatâs your go-to exercise for using straps? Drop it in the comments!
