Wow life has been busy!! Before May is done let’s catch up a little…
Last weekend early morning a group of teammates decide to do a 5K, Race for the Red.
Team Lakeshore consisted of: Cutter (Samantha), Just Phil (Phillip), Drift (Tracey), Jolt (Angela), Malex, Wild Kat (Kathy), Princess Slaya (Jennie) and Special Bonus, Han Slomo cheering on from the sidelines!!
Way to go Jolt! This Baddie right here got 1st place overall Female. All while doing this in her turnout gear!!!
Just Phil also did amazing, placing 3rd for his age group.

Later in the evening on this same day we had another group of teammates out celebrating Jaguars (Ashlyn) birthday at the Park Theatre! A fun night of karaoke and dancing!
Lakeshore teammates in the wild there consisted of: Trauma Queen (Emily), Jax (Ethan), Gnomie (Kaila), Peanut (Maria), Bunsen BurnHer (Colleen), P***Y BrUiSeR (Jessica), Twisted-T (Talia), Jones (Amos Futae), KriKit (George), Torch (Angela) and Smashley Simpson.

May 5th is International Roller Derby Day, celebrating a roller-skating contact sport played by two teams of up to fifteen players.

It was first played in 1935 in Chicago, but is now practiced by over 1,000 amateur leagues worldwide, mainly in the United States.
