I spent time at the studio today planting new things, painting the rock, working on new choreography, and getting things ready for auditions tomorrow. It’s so rare that I’m at the studio completely by myself. As I started to pull away, I looked back and saw the sun shining down over this really special place and I got tears in my eyes. I really can’t fully articulate the gratitude that I have for this place and the amazing people who fill it. I hope that you feel the same way. 🧡

Our Trunk Or Treat is the BEST!!! We LOVE this fun community event coming up on Saturday, Oct.24th from 3-5pm! We have amazing trunks, a chili cook off, and a “Thriller” performance at 5pm! Want to join the planning committee?! We need you! Join us this Thursday at 6pm in studio 148. Interested in creating a trunk? Best trunk wins a free summer class, and big bragging rights! 😉 This family friendly event takes friendly families helping us, so I hope to see you on Thursday! 🎃

I got the sweetest surprise from Dance The World Events. ❤️
15 years ago, I read about a new performance opportunity down Main St., USA in Disney World. From the very beginning, the team at Dance The World has been outstanding in every possible way. At that first event, rows 1-18 were filled with so many talented kids that I still adore so much, even though they’re not kids anymore. 😉 This summer in Paris, we were so honored to be invited again to lead the dancers at Dance The World’s premiere event in France.
As someone who truly believes that strong connections with family creates stronger dancers, this company is giving us all treasured memories and experiences that we will never forget. We can’t wait to head back there this summer with a new group of talented kids who will be so ready to be a part of the magic. Thank you to Dance The World for making us feel so special, and to the hundreds of HSSOD dancers who have made me so proud in Disney World, Times Square, on the Broadway stage, and by the Eiffel Tower. Being a dancer is the best, and I will always be grateful to the organizations and people who I have the privilege of dancing through life with, for sure.

Congratulations to these beautiful dancers for being cast in Ms.Kelly’s new piece for Holiday Cabaret! After being cast on Friday night, the dancers worked through the weekend to set the SDC Apprentices’ guest artist piece. 👏🏻
