Challenging ourselves is scary. It's so easy to waste away in complacency. However, true bravery is acting, even when we're terrified. In order to grow, we can embrace the fear as a sign that we're taking bold steps into new territory.

We can expect good things from our husbands, but when we prescribe what good things they do and how they do them, they are no longer permitted to show up as their own best selves. It's okay for them to be different from us.

If I want different results, I need to do different things, not wait for someone else to change.
