Big step! I have cleaned up the engine compartment in preparation for our new engine arriving next week! Twenty-eight years of gunk and dirt are mostly gone. The parts shown here are the fuel lines, water lines, electrical lines, exhaust line, and control cables.

Kay Dolliver Decker and I are busy making repairs after our trip to the Bahamas so we can go cruising again! Here, Kay holds up a piece of frayed topping lift we replaced. Our prop shaft coupler that was throwing nuts has been fixed, which is shown in the other photo. We topped up the rum supply, fixed the autopilot, replaced a broken wind transducer, fixed the broken boom vang, changed the oil and filter in the diesel, and topped up the rum supply. Are we almost ready?
