Hope this answers what we do at ATP Performance Facility:
Doing something isn’t the same as being proficient at it and having positive outcomes. You can go do yoga, pilates, CrossFit, HIIT, and so on, and never actually own a proper squat or hinge.
Most places treat the symptom and try to fix your pain. But there is no fixing in humans. We’re living, breathing organisms that adapt to our environment. We can’t treat ourselves like machines because we’re not machines.
What we do here is help understand human movement . So when these things emerge, they emerge less often. You now have strategies. You understand your body. And when they do emerge, you get back to it fast because you have resilience built from foundational patterns and fundamental patterns .
That competency becomes your resilience for life. Your body keeps score, and in your thirties, forties, fifties—that foundation matters.
And because you’ve got that foundation, you can actually do all the things you want. Throw the baseball with your kid. Hike. Do jiu jitsu. Play soccer on the weekends. Do that specialized yoga or pilates. Live without limitation.
