Green Line Velo We believe that the bicycle provides a channel for our members to enact social good.

Green Line Velo is a Boston-based bicycle racing team, dedicated to developing young collegiate and post-collegiate talent, while fostering a high level of camaraderie. We seek to provide a team experience similar to that found in the collegiate cycling arena, to remind everyone that we are here for the love of the bike, for the spirit of competition, but most importantly for the pursuit of fun an

d enjoyment for all! We seek to promote that social good through our activities both on and off the bike.

Join Green Line Velo + Landry’s Boston for the GLV Bicycle Block Party on September 2 at 6 PM at Landry’s on Commonwealth Ave!

We’ll kick things off with a 60-minute social ride, then roll back to the parking lot for pizza, beer, raffle prizes, and good company. We’ll also be joined by Best Buddies and Jeffrey Glassman Injury Lawyers!

Three years ago, we found a cause we believe in deeply. We haven’t looked back since. 💚

For the third year running, Green Line Velo is partnering with Best Buddies International, an organization that supports people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through one-to-one friendships, meaningful employment, leadership development, inclusive living, and family support. This isn’t just a sponsorship to us. It’s personal.

On May 30th, our riders will make the journey from Boston to Hyannis Port for the Best Buddies Challenge. We’ve committed to raising $20,000 for the programs that make this mission possible. We’ve crossed $4,000 and every dollar brings us closer to a goal that means a lot to a lot of people.

Whether you give $5 or $500, donate to the team or a specific rider, it all adds up, and it all matters.

The first Wednesday Night group ride of the summer is TOMORROW — and you’re invited.

Weather is looking like mid-to-upper 60s with chance of rain — we’re keeping an eye on it and will confirm go/no-go in the afternoon. When the skies cooperate, we roll.

This is what we’ve been waiting all winter for. New faces, familiar faces, all paces. Whether you’ve been training hard or just dusted off your bike — come as you are.

Welcome to the ride. 🚴Every Wednesday night this summer, join us and the Boston cycling community at 6PM from Landry’s on Comm Ave.

Whether it’s your first group ride or your hundredth, this is your home base. Every week we’ll hit the road together: all paces, all levels, one crew.

Before we roll, give this post a read. It covers everything you need to know to ride safely, keep the group moving, and communicate while on the road.

We take care of each other out there. That’s what makes this community what it is.
