Nonprofit EORC is a member of the Road Runners Club of America ( #841) and USA Track & Field ( #158).

EORC values each member of our club equally, and we strive to offer each member, regardless of ability, a meaningful running experience. EORC offers its membership:
• A full calendar of running and social events.

With a 7:08pm sunset this week, we hate to admit summer is almost over. But Thursday night racing at Ashley Reservoir isn't done just yet!

We have three more timed 5Ks before we call it a season — and with the days getting shorter, the start time has moved up to 6pm.

Beginning this Thursday and continuing through September, EORC races at the Holyoke Elks will start at 6:00 PM.

This week, we’ll also celebrate the winners of our 12-Week Points Race Series with the awards ceremony following the race.

🏃 5K — open to runners of all abilities

Race entry is $7, $5 for EORC members, and free for ages 16 and under and 70+.

After 11 weeks of racing around Ashley Reservoir, 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟮𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗢𝗥𝗖'𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗥𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀.

And we're finishing things off with a little variety: 5K. Bottom start. Your choice of direction.

Whether you're chasing those final series points, looking for a fast 5K or just want to spend a beautiful late-summer evening running around the reservoir, come join us!

Tonight's Summer Sizzler at Forest Park has been canceled because of storm damage.

RACE UPDATE: 8/6/26

To mitigate the elevated risks associated with today's high humidity and temperature, tonight's race will start at the BOTTOM instead of the TOP as originally scheduled. This will allow finishers to be closer to aid, air conditioning, and more water.

The race start will be pushed to 6:35pm to give runners extra time to get down to the start line.

The direction is still straight.

For years, the Holyoke Elks Lodge 902 has generously hosted EORC's Thursday night race series. They've welcomed hundreds of runners every season — and the Elks make their parking lot available to the thousands of walkers, runners, cyclists, and families who enjoy .

𝗡𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆'𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁.

What many people don't realize is that the parking lot is 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙮 𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙙 by the Elks — not by the City.

TONIGHT'S RACE (7/2/26) CANCELLED

Due to the extreme heat and humidity forecasted later today, tonight's EORC Ashley Reservoir race has been cancelled.

The 12-week point series will be extended and will now conclude on August 27. Otherwise, the remaining race schedule remains unchanged.
