This photo was taken from the beach on Perl Island of a Whale in the channel, with a cell phone. With Cook Inlet having one of the highest tide changes in the world and roughly 2 highs and 2 lows in a 24 hr period...the Chugach passage has current that moves at 10 kt’s, no bears on Perl Island!
