We are all aware of the deadly wildfires on August 8 in Lahaina, Maui in which 115 people perished and approximately 2,200 homes and businesses were devastated.
I am part of a business networking group that have ties
to 4 Lahaina families who are currently displaced after their homes were completely destroyed. It is our goal to raise funds for these 4 families to assist them with their immediate needs and recovery.

like MAUI UNITED WAY that are helping the residents of Lahaina, but we feel we can have a greater impact on these 4 families by having the funds go directly to them. The funds will be distributed via VENMO (to avoid processing fees), and the receipts of these donations will be posted here
on September 15.
