Ever have those mornings when It takes everything in you to get your day started? 😫
Well everything about this morning was tough. I woke up late and wanted to stay in bed for the rest of the day.
But.... I made a commitment to myself so I had to suck it up and I’m glad I did. 😓

How are your 2021 fitness goals or should I say resolutions going so far?
I bought my first pair of good running shoes 10 years ago with the goal to get into long distance running (5K and up is long enough 😃). A year went by and the sneakers had only been worn for walks around my neighborhood. 🙈🙈
I made the commitment again the following year, I was determined this time around and you guessed it... NOTHING - total disaster!!
I was on my 3rd year and had barely ran a 5K. I Honestly felt like a joke but my last child stubbornness would not let me quit so I tried again.
I’ve always been athletic so I figured 2 miles would be an easy start but yikes was I wrong. I could barely run half a mile without walking but I pushed through. One day at a time.
Managed to run a full 2 miles a month later and I celebrated by buying another pair of running shoes 😃😃
No matter where you are on your fitness journey, it not too late... stop thinking and start doing. Just walk for 20 mins, do squats or dance. Just move...
I’m still not a fan of running but I find causes to motivate me e.g Run for Rwanda which raises funds to build wells in rural Rwanda, Turkey Trot - raises funds for first responders and diabetes research and so on.
PS. Find a workout partner - anything is fun and tolerable with the right company. I am grateful for

I’ve always been insecure about my large arms but I’ve grown to appreciate the strength and beauty plus I have a mean hook that you do not want to encounter 🤣🤣

I am a creature of good habit. I typically have the same thing for breakfast on weekdays and then I switch it up on weekends.
