Injuries suck and rehabilitation takes time, patience, and consistency. I haven’t touched the barbell since Sep 2023. Believe it or not this is progress. I have sooo far to go but we are here for long term health not short term gainz.

Here’s one inspired by my Marine roommate. I can’t keep up with him can you?
This guy right here!!! From 105lbs to 111lbs in just 4 weeks. No supplements or any gimmick just good eating and great programming. He we from not knowing How to Gym to deadlifting 135lbs in 7 weeks!!! 😱 He was looking for form and precision training to help increase mass. That’s what I continue to deliver. Client is progressing wonderfully and will continue to reach his goals. PT or coaching is not about having someone tell you what to do even though that’s part of the luxury. It’s about having that external voice that brings your mind and body into awareness so it can connect and do amazing things. We get stuck in our heads when we train at times and we hit that plateau, each at their own pace. A coach can assist you through those blocks until you are free to fly on your own. Coaches don’t want to keep you but they do want to train you so you are capable on your own to experience your own mind, body and spirit.

Ryan and I have decided to share our workouts with everyone. Check out our collaboration. Endurance Athlete Plus Power Athlete.
Typically I do the side by side first but for this client I have to spotlight her biggest lift to date. In only 8 weeks went from doing kettlebell deadlift to 95lbs hook grip on the barbell. She took everything I threw at her. Her starting weight was 168lbs and after a month her weight shot up to 182lbs. She freaked out at seeing the scale go up instead of down. Like most people seeking weight loss this isn’t the direction they see themselves going. I told her not to freak out, I still had to measure her. Verdict has it all of her measurements went down 2 inches 😱and she’s waaay stronger now. When you’re on a weight loss journey or weight gain the scale is going to fluctuate. What matters is are you getting stronger and what are your measurements saying. The scale does not account for how your weight is distributed. Stick with your program it works. Trust it and trust yourself. If you’re putting in the work it is working. If you’re sitting at home well that’s a different story. What are you waiting for let’s get uncomfortable and break through those vicious cycles. Charlene complained so much at first, then realized she was changing inside and out. She did it all and continues to want more!
