🏐 NASED Future Friday
The future of Hawaiʻi sports is already taking shape.
Congratulations to the Aʻo Koa Boys Volleyball Team for representing the next generation of student-athletes who inspire our communities through dedication, teamwork, and heart.
As we build the New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District (NASED), we’re dreaming beyond the traditional game-day experience. We envision a venue that creates opportunities for a variety of sports—including volleyball—and gives future athletes a stage to compete, celebrate, and inspire the next generation.
To every young athlete putting in the work today: Work hard. Dream bigger. Play harder.
We are proud to support Hawaiʻi’s student-athletes now, and we look forward to the day we can welcome them into our future home—where today’s dreams can become tomorrow’s unforgettable moments.
Oops originally we were told it was magnum PI. Our bad…. Still a true throwback 🎬 Aloha Stadium appears under construction where the stadium’s end zone was being enclosed. 🏟️

Yesterday, a group of students from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa College of Engineering visited Aloha Stadium to get a closer look at the ongoing dismantling work.
Experiences like this give the next generation of engineers a front-row view of a major project taking shape—and one day, they could be the ones helping build Hawaiʻi’s future.

What makes a project like the New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District possible? A strong public-private partnership (P3).
By combining public oversight with private investment and expertise, the State and Aloha Hālawa District Partners are working together to deliver a new 31,000-seat multipurpose stadium and a vibrant mixed-use district—while helping reduce the financial burden on taxpayers.
Public-private partnerships are helping shape the future of infrastructure across Hawaiʻi, and the New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District is one of the state’s most significant examples.
