🎓 HBCTC FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY 🎓
The Hawaii Building & Construction Trades Council Foundation will be awarding four (4) $2,000 scholarships to eligible high school graduates who are family members of Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local 1.
Scholarships are available for students entering or currently attending an accredited college or technical school in Hawaii or the U.S. Mainland.

Selection is based on academics, financial need, community involvement, awards, athletic achievement, and personal motivation.

Developed by leaders in the tile and stone industry, ACT certifications are recognized in AIA MasterSpec and the TCNA Handbook — setting the standard for qualified labor across the industry.

ACT is a universally recognized industry program that certifies the skills and expertise of installers in key areas. Developed through the combined efforts of leaders in the tile and stone industry. ACT certifications now in AlA MasterSpec and incorporated into the TCNA Handbook under the Installer and Contractor Qualified Labor section, encouraging architects and designers to directly reference this level of expertise when developing
specifications.
There are a total of nine available ACT Certifications, with each consisting of a written test, and a hands-on evaluation.
