Congratulations to Enzo Yates, who has joined the FC Bayern Global Academy in Munich.

It’s an incredible opportunity to live, train and develop in a completely different football environment — and we’re excited to see where Enzo takes it.

At FC Hawaiʻi, independence matters. We aren’t tied to one league, one affiliation or one pathway. Our job is to help players find the opportunities that are right for them — whether that leads to college soccer, ODP, MLS NEXT, Europe or somewhere we haven’t imagined yet.

Enzo’s path has taken him from Hawaiʻi to Bayern.

Three games in three days for our U15 Blue Boys. ⚽️🌺

At times the combinations clicked and the goals followed. At others, the chances kept coming and nothing seemed to fall their way.

That’s soccer.

The challenge is learning to approach each game with the same standards — staying composed, respecting the opponent, making good decisions and continuing to play when the game gets frustrating.

A long weekend with plenty of good soccer, a few lessons, and more for this group to build on.

One long weekend. Four very different games. Plenty to learn. ⚽️🌺

Our U14 Boys played four times in 48 hours, with each game asking something different of them.

Stay compact and disciplined. Take control of possession. Recognize when to absorb pressure and transition. Find a way through tired legs when things aren’t clicking.

For a new group still learning how to play together, that’s valuable experience.

And a special mention for Styra, who continues to make her mark with the boys — including an outstanding first-time finish from distance this weekend. 🚀

The work showing up in the game. ⚽️🌺

Our U16 Girls have been working since July on playing with an attacking mindset — winning the ball higher up the field, connecting passes and recognizing when to switch the point of attack.

This weekend, we started to see those ideas come together.

One of the best moments came after four connecting passes moved the girls into the attacking third, followed by the switch, the finish and teammates ready for the next action. Exactly the kind of sequence they’ve been working toward.

Two very different N1 games, plenty of challenges, and another weekend of learning how to play together.

Our U9 Boys are off and running. ⚽️🌺

Plenty of goals, plenty of excitement and plenty still to learn.

The boys are beginning to share the ball, play for each other and understand what to do when we don’t have it.

That’s what these early games are for. Play. Learn. Come back to training and work on it.

And maybe a few shutout pizzas somewhere down the road. 🍕🤙

Our U16 Girls had plenty to figure out last weekend. ⚽️🌺

New teammates. A new league. New routines. A new coaching voice. And, at the last minute, a new goalkeeper too.

With Lia unavailable, Brooklyn stepped into goal without hesitation, with Kyani and Mila also ready to help when needed. That willingness to step up said a lot about the group.

Against a tough older opponent, the girls stuck together, listened, problem-solved and kept playing. No complaints. No excuses. And importantly, they still had fun doing it.

Good to see Coach Chris and Coach Karli stopping by to support the girls too. 💙

Lots still to learn. Plenty to build on. But a pretty good foundation for the season ahead.

A glimpse of what our U15 Boys can be. ⚽️🌺

With several players at ODP and others getting the opportunity to play up with our U16s, the group had just one game together this weekend.

At their best, they played some exciting soccer — controlling possession, combining well and creating opportunities through the way they want to play.

There were challenges too, particularly when building from the back. That’s part of asking players to make decisions with the ball rather than simply getting rid of it.

A talented group, plenty still to sharpen, and a lot of soccer ahead.

Our U13 Red Boys got a good lesson in staying true to how they want to play this weekend. ⚽️🌺

Two games. Two very different challenges.

The biggest test came against a strong, physical Bulls side. After getting drawn into their game in the first half, the boys regrouped at halftime, made the adjustment and got back to theirs.

The response was the part worth remembering: better decisions, better combinations and a second half where they took control of the game.

Learning to recognize what a game needs — and having the confidence to change it — is part of becoming a better player and a better team.

A good day of work for our U13 Boys. 🤙
