Meekee is a hip hop dancer trained in Japan, performing and showcases, she has developed her style and approach to movement. with a strong connection to Hip Hop and experience in multiple styles.

Through her experience,
Her workshops focus on basic foundations while sharing a passion and groove for Hip Hop, creating a space where dancers can grow and express themselves freely.

She currently dances with FamilyCo, teaches beginner Hip Hop, and continues her journey as a choreographer and freestyler.

This workshop is designed to be fun, empowering, and accessible—whether you’re just starting or continuing to build your foundation.

FREESTYLE POPPING – FUNDAMENTALS | OPEN LEVEL

This class is a skill-building lab focused on clarity, groove, and intention.

Jake Kim (JKIM) .808 is a freestyle & popping-based dancer from Honolulu, Hawai‘i,
with 10+ years of overseas training and experience across California, New York, Las Vegas, South Korea, and Japan—learning foundations, styles, and perspectives from the culture at its roots.

His movement blends Animation, Boppin, Boogaloo, Popping, Tutting, Strutting, and Waving, with an emphasis on geometry, rhythm awareness, and freestyle application.

We’ll train popping fundamentals (hits, angles, timing, control), musicality, body awareness, geometric & spatial isolation, and freestyle decision-making—using techniques as tools, not limits.

Built for dancers who want real freedom and control.

Honoring the OGs who laid the foundation so we can move truthfully into the next.
