It wasn’t until I STOPPED jumping from one diet to the next, trying to eat as little as possible, and workout 6 days a week
That I lost the weight, and KEPT IT OFF.
I don’t need to tell you that consistency is key, you already know.
But, knowing isn’t the problem.
It’s the application that most people struggle with
and I GET IT…
It’s hard to stay consistent when you aren’t seeing the results.
It’s even harder to keep going without ACCOUNTABILITY.
In the past 8 years of coaching,
the reason clients get results is the accountability that comes with it.
PERIODT.

You don’t need to diet,
you need to “un-diet” to restore your metabolism, regulate your nervous system, and heal your relationship with food

The long term effect of dieting is slower metabolism, down regulated thyroid, imbalance in s*x hormones
which can all lead to…
weight gain.
Another diet isn’t your solution, unless you want to be dieting for the rest of your life.

Make it make sense 🙄
I spent years cutting calories, carbs, over exercising, etc. just to go backwards in progress
Living in a constant state of fight or flight wrecks havoc on our bodies
you may not feel the effect immediately (because your body is constantly working hard to bring you back to balance) but the negative impact of depleting your body of nutrients will always catch up to you
I’m almost 3 years into “un-dieting” and I’m still healing
Seeking quick fixes is what got us here in the first place.
Healing takes time, but it’ll be well worth it

I spent YEARS obsessing on weight loss trying every diet - calorie counting, low carb, low fat, keto, vegan, raw vegan, fasting just to name a few, doing cardio everyday it all just lead me to be 20lbs heavier than when I started.
At this time, my mental health was at an all time low, I constantly felt fatigued, everything I ate made me bloated, I had irregular periods and my skin was the worst it’s ever been
I felt so uncomfortable in my body, I hated how my clothes fit and how they squeezed parts of my body that I didn't want to be squeezed
That’s when my interest in health replaced my desperation for weight loss
I started eating to nourish my body, I started a meditation practice, I traded high intensity exercises with low intensity, and I prioritized rest & sleep.
& Ironically I was in the best shape of my life without intentionally working towards it, I lost 20lbs and it felt effortless
Weight loss happened as a side effect of becoming the healthiest version of myself
Fast forward to today,
I no longer feel uncomfortable wearing tank tops and bikinis, and shopping became fun again, my mood is stable, I don’t have relay on coffee for energy, my cycle is regular + symptom free
I came to the realization that every system in our bodies are interconnected
like how digestion is impacted by more than just food, food impacts more than just weight, and sleep impacts more than just energy.
When you put your focus on optimizing your health and take the appropriate action towards the bigger picture, you can not FAIL.
I know this because not only has it worked for me but it’s worked for so many of my clients

Diets work, until they don’t.
Most diets create a calorie deficit directly or indirectly
A calorie deficit is when you consume less energy than you burn
for example if i burn 2300 calories a day and i’m only eating 1500 i am in a deficit
It’s recommended to be in a calorie deficit for 4-10 weeks before it negatively impacts your metabolism
So for most people eating 1000-1500 calories is a deficit
& how long have you been doing that? Maybe a year, 2 years, maybe even 5?
If dieting isn’t working, you need to undiet.
Enrollment for FIT+ well a 1-1 fitness & wellness coaching program opens 11 - 13 - 22

There’s enough information and vanilla fitness advice.
Though there are some truths there’s more misinformation floating around than there are useful
keeping the collective stuck, confused, unfit, and frustrated AF.
At the root of our issues I believe it’s the disconnect between ourselves and our bodies & our ability to “listen” and respond to its cues
Orthodox fitness & nutrition advice disconnects us more and more, and the longer we’ve been stuck in the cycle the more disconnected we become.
We need to come back home, and what I mean by that is back into our bodies. We have the innate ability to make choices around food and even our activity.
We will be diving much deeper into this topic in an upcoming FREE LIVE masterclass: “Reconnecting with the Body”
Reserve your seat, and see you soon 🤍
