Doubting yourself is normal. Letting it stop you is a choice.
There are times when you may have doubts that you can’t accomplish your goals. Those sneaky thoughts may tell you that you’re not good enough, that you have too far to go, that you are too tired and you will never get to your goal.
Those are the thoughts preventing you from achieving your goals. You have a choice to stay right where you are or to do something about it.
Small shifts in your thinking will help you take action towards reaching your goals.
Begin to have thoughts like…
“I CAN lose weight”
“I might not be there yet, but I am healthy choices daily and I will get there”
or
“I am a work in progress”
Small shifts in your thinking you help you take action. You CAN do this!❤️

Monday reminder: follow through with your commitment to yourself.
If you are lacking confidence, one of the ways to help build your confidence is to follow through on your commitments.
When you say that you are going to do something, then do it.
Don’t keep feeding yourself excuses about why you can’t exercise, or why you just had to fall off your nutrition plan.
If you struggle with this, start setting smaller goals and working on following through. That is how you build trust with yourself.😊

I have to say that it has been awhile…
Lately, I been so caught up with life and social media hasn’t been a priority. I am not only a fitness instructor, but also a Behavioral Health Coach and I’m studying for my licensure in mental health.
It’s been so long since I posted that I didn’t know what to say 😆 I do know that I LOVE being an instructor because I get to meet AMAZING friends. These two women have been so supportive, thoughtful and kind for years! I am so thankful 💕🥰😊

I get it… losing weight is hard. It may even feel like there isn’t ever a “right” time because you are busy.
Embrace the lifestyle change. You have to take time out for yourself.
I remember at the beginning of my weight loss journey, I did not like to go shopping because I couldn’t find the clothes I liked in my size. The worst feeling ever is to be in a fitting room and can’t pull up the pants that you “thought” would fit you. 😩
It was uncomfortable being in my own skin. It was also difficult for me to start a weight loss program and stick to it. To add to the challenges, it was hard to stick to healthy habits when the people around me weren’t. It was difficult to find the time.
It became harder when I was putting in the time and effort, but not seeing the results fast enough.
This is when your mindset has to be fired up 🔥 and ready to achieve your goals. Have positive and supportive people around you. Have patience and embrace the journey.❤️
