Warm up and shinai Keiko to follow

This was a sad time for all of us to have our last keiko with Matthew Wong who will be leaving for a new position in Los Angeles. He started kendo at our dojo when he was 7 years old. We had so much fun as we were all growing up. We will miss him especially me since he always was of a big help.

Mayuko Koike’s last practice with us at Kenyukai. we will miss her as she continues her education back home in Tokyo.

Yoshiyuki Takahashi’s visit with us

Last practice of the year is this Friday December 16th. Come join us at 7:30 in the JCCH Kenshikan dojo!

Kenyukai kendo club will be doing a kendo demonstration at the Kawaii Kon, the anime convention at the Hawaii Convention Center, this Saturday at 10 a.m. If anyone is going, please stop by!
