It was one hell of a ride. I finished crossing the Molokai channel. I now understand why they call it the 'channel of bones'. The conditions were difficult with waves coming in all directions. I'm so glad to have completed it. I couldn't have done it without my support crew on land and my support boat crew Jessa, tita Mel m, A-arawn and captain Maka who came on the es**rt boat, cheered me on for 5 hours, kept me fed, hydrated and made sure I made it across safely.
A huge thankyou to my family and friends who flew all the way to Hawaii to make the dream come true. Ohana means family no one gets left behind or forgotten.
Thank you to Luke Horder and the SHSC team for getting us to this point, for everyone who helped with training logics and everyone who had wished me good luck. You know who are! I'm blessed to have you as friends.
Thank you BG&E for sponsoring me for the race and supporting me on my journey.
Lastly, thank you from the bottom of my heart for all those who have generously donated to Canteen For youth living with Cancer. You have made my heart full and made a difference in people's lives.
If you have yet to donate and would like to please donate in the link below.
