We love planning fishing trips. Honestly, it might be one of our favorite parts of this whole thing.

We spend our days completely immersed in fly fishing. We hear about incredible fisheries, talk to people who have been there, read the stories, look at the pictures, and eventually start thinking: we need to go fish that place.

That’s really what Big Y Hosted Travel is about.

These are the trips we want to take, too. Places we’ve been dreaming about, species we want to chase, and experiences we want to have. And one of the best parts is getting to do it alongside some of the awesome customers we’ve gotten to know over the years.

We love putting these trips together. But our favorite part is seeing all that planning finally play out when everyone gets there and starts fishing.

Winter is coming. Getting sunburned is optional.

Bonefish flies are **10% OFF** right now, which seems like as good an excuse as any to start thinking about somewhere warm.

We still have a few spots on our **Christmas Island trip this February**, and we'd love to fill them with people who want to come have a good time with us.

That's really what these trips are about. We fish hard, laugh a lot, tell increasingly questionable stories over dinner, and somehow a group of people who mostly didn't know each other at the airport ends up feeling like old fishing buddies by the end of the week.

Bring your vise and materials and tie up some of your favorite patterns, try something new, or just come hang out and talk fishing. There will be a vise and some materials available, but bringing your own setup is encouraged.

All anglers and tyers are welcome, regardless of skill level or age. Never tied a fly before? Come on down and check it out.

Every once in a while, we stumble into one of those magical days of fishing. The kind of day we remember and talk about for years.

More than a few of those days have involved a Snake River Chernobyl.

Every time I tie one on, I remember those magical days where fish threw themselves at it. Is today going to be one of those days?
