Just two days until our Cherry Blossom Festival!!

Today's spotlight falls on Shinkendo of Birmingham , a regular at the Festival! They will be performing at 2:45 PM this year.

Shinkendo is a system of Japanese swordsmanship founded by Obata Toshishiro.
Incorporating techniques and concepts culled from numerous sword traditions, Shinkendo unifies into one comprehensive system the most important elements of traditional swordsmanship training!

2026 "Year of the Horse" East Asian Heritage Festival - Birmingham Museum of Art (HIGHLIGHTS)

Please join us this Saturday at the Birmingham Museum of Art as part of their Year of the Horse East Asian Heritage Festival. This is a free event open to the public. There will be two combined performances: the first from 1:30 - 2:30 and the second from 3:30 - 4:30. We hope to see you there!
