Today's spotlight falls on Shinkendo of Birmingham , a regular at the Festival! They will be performing at 2:45 PM this year.
Shinkendo is a system of Japanese swordsmanship founded by Obata Toshishiro.
Incorporating techniques and concepts culled from numerous sword traditions, Shinkendo unifies into one comprehensive system the most important elements of traditional swordsmanship training!
