We expect a high today in the low 90s, right at seasonal averages. But, mid to upper 90s are likely by Wednesday, and this should be the hottest week so far this summer.

I don't like the idiotic "heat tips" like "go into an air conditioned room" and "stay out of the sun to be cooler" (you will see this all over the TV news this week). Believe it or not, those that follow this page can actually can figure this out on their own.

Our deepest condolences for the loss of Dr. Edwards
Such a great man, and a great ambassador, he made the world a better place for more than 37 years at United Ability

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we write this message.

Our beloved CEO, Dr. Gary Edwards, passed away this morning after an extended illness.

For 37 years, “Dr. E” dedicated his life to our children and adults living with disabilities and special needs.

From his mantras “Babies cannot wait” and “Employing adults with disabilities should be on every board agenda” to every service in between, Dr. Edwards’ vision and passion were unsurpassed.

United Ability will not be the same without him; yet, his legacy will live on through the life-spectrum programs he built and through every life touched.

Please join the United Ability Staff and Boards of Directors as we pray for The Edwards Family during this difficult time.

Tributes in memory of Dr. Edwards can be made at www.unitedability.org/give or mailed to:
