The Alabama Golf Association (AGA) is the governing body of amateur golf in the State of Alabama. AGA is the USGA's liaison for golf in Alabama.

The Alabama Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization founded in 1915 whose mission is to serve and promote amateur golf in Alabama. AGA membership consists of over 115 member clubs represented by over 21,000 individuals. The activities and services of the Alabama Golf Association are governed by a Board of Directors consisting of Alabama golfers who wish to serve the game and the association through service.

Three players advanced to the 78th U.S. Junior Amateur at Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pa., July 20-25, 2026!

Carson Andreoni of Jackson, TN secured medalist honors with an 8-under 63.

Andrew Sciortino of Brentwood, TN and Ty Hester of Guntersville, AL claimed the final two qualifying spot to advance to the 2026 U.S. Junior Amateur Championship.

Our first recipient is Allyson Bell! Allyson is from Eight Mile, AL and attended Cottage Hill Christian Academy. She will attend the University of Alabama where she plans to study biology with a pre-veterinary track. Congratulations, Allyson!

This week, two of our interns, Ava and Alex, traveled to Liberty Corner, NJ to attend the P.J. Boatwright Intern Summit! ✈️⛳️

So far, Ava and Alex have connected with other Boatwright interns and are continuing to learn more about the inner workings of golf.
