The Alabama Golf Association (AGA) is the governing body of amateur golf in the State of Alabama. AGA is the USGA's liaison for golf in Alabama.
The Alabama Golf Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization founded in 1915 whose mission is to serve and promote amateur golf in Alabama. AGA membership consists of over 115 member clubs represented by over 21,000 individuals. The activities and services of the Alabama Golf Association are governed by a Board of Directors consisting of Alabama golfers who wish to serve the game and the association through service.

The 14th Southern Junior Cup tees off tomorrow at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia, MO — and we’re excited to introduce Team Alabama!
These talented juniors will compete against top teams from Arkansas, Missouri and Oklahoma seeking the 2026 Southern Junior Cup title.
Join us in wishing them luck as they represent our state with pride!

The United States Golf Association P.J. Boatwright Internship program is designed to give experience to individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in golf administration, while assisting state and regional golf associations in the promotion of amateur golf, on a short-term, entry level basis.
