A new way of training is coming to Barça Academy Hoover!
Our Barça Academy Next Fall Season is designed for U8-U15 boys & girls, offering a unique training environment focused on individual development, technical mastery, and game-realistic situations.
Small groups: 5-6 players per coach
Technical development: Passing, ball control, finishing,
body orientation & more
Game-realistic training: Decision-making, spatial
awareness and adapting on the fly
Riverchase Sports Park
8 Friday sessions + 2 Sunday make-up sessions
Open to both Barça Academy and non-Academy
players!

Welcome back to the pitch, Hoover!
⚽️💙The Hoover Soccer Club Recreational Program is officially back in action for the new season! We are so excited to see our HSC Rec League (U9–U19) players back on the fields having fun, learning new skills, and playing the game they love.

We are also thrilled for the start of our Futures Program (U4–U8) which kicks off this week!

Whether you are cheering from the sidelines or coaching from the bench, we are ready for an amazing season of community, teamwork, and great soccer. Let’s make it a fantastic season! Go HSC! ⚽️🔥

Our USMNT is heading to the World Cup Round of 32 this Wednesday, July 1st to take on Bosnia and Herzegovina! Even more exciting, Hoover Soccer Club’s very own alumnus, Chris Richards, will be continuing his run on the world stage.

Chris got his start in soccer right here on our Hoover fields from ages 9 to 15 under the guidance of our current Director of Coaching, Paul Welch, and Executive Director, Tomas Fox. Now, it is our turn to come together and cheer him on as he represents our country, city and club history!

The City of Hoover has organized an amazing opportunity to watch and support the USA as a club family and community complete with live entertainment and a closing fireworks show:

Date: Wednesday, July 1st, 2026
Time: Kickoff is at 7:00 PM (Doors open at 6:00 PM and admission is FREE)
Location: Hoover Met Complex
What to Wear: Wear your favorite red, white, and blue or your Hoover Soccer Club/Barca Academy Hoover gear!
