Welcome to the home of Spain Park Girls Soccer...since it's inaugural season in 2002, Spain Park has proven to be one of the premier girls high school soccer programs in Alabama. 7A State Champions in 2004, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2022.

Spain Park Jaguars best Helena Huskies in opening round Spain Park traveled to Helena on Friday, April 24 for the first round of the playoffs. When the match came to an end, the Jaguars came out on top.

Every person in this feature is employed by SP! Carmen Starr, who has served as the athletic administrative assistant for 17 years, is also the head girls flag football coach and works alongside her husband, Coach Robert Starr. He is the head coach of the 5X state champion girls soccer team and has been here since the school opened in 2001! Their son, Cole Starr graduated from SP in 2018 and has been the head coach for our freshman boys soccer team for 4 years. They are true originals who bleed Spain Park blue! Spain Park is very grateful for the dedication of the Starr family! 💙 ⚽ 🏈⚽💙

Last night, our very own, Coach Starr, hit 400 wins! From coaching at Hoover and Vestavia, to arriving at Spain Park in 2001, he’s helped set the standard for girls soccer in our area. Through the trials of building a program, to numerous team and personal accolades, state championships, and our team holding the current #1 national ranking, his strive for excellence is relentless! There’s no doubt that continual pursuit has a life-serving impact on our student-athletes. Congratulations, Coach Starr!! Thank you for everything you do for Spain Park and for being a Jag for 24 years!!

We've been talking about this idea for a while and next weekend we would love to make it happen! Next Saturday, July 23rd from 1:00-4:30pm at Spain Park Soccer Stadium...we would like to invite ALL Spain Park Girls Soccer alumni and their families to spend an afternoon playing a little soccer, sharing laughs and some incredible memories over the past 21 seasons. The idea would be to have a "game" with alumni versus the current Spain Park Girls Soccer team. Don't worry about fitness levels, we can adjust the field and teams to make it work and just have some fun. Afterwards, we can cookout at the field and connect previous players/families with the current ones! Alumni please text or call Coach Starr and let him know if you can make it. We would love to get this event started and make it a tradition!
