Congratulations again to the 2027 OFW Galaxy team and Coach Tabios Darden on bringing home the YBOA Alabama State Championship — and making it three championships this travel ball season. That’s not luck… that’s culture, commitment, and a group that knows how to compete.
Best wishes to the entire OFW Galaxy family as these young athletes head into their high school basketball journey. The travel season may be wrapping up, but the next chapter is just getting started. Keep working, keep growing, and keep stacking wins — on and off the court.
The future looks bright for this group. 🚀🏀

What a way to close out the season. Day one of the State Championship is in the books, and every team in our club showed exactly how much growth has happened from the first tournament to now.
This group of athletes, coaches, and families has put in the work all season long, and it showed today in pool play. Across all 7 teams, the effort, toughness, teamwork, and confidence were on display from start to finish.
A huge day for our 5th grade girls, who continued their outstanding season by going 2-0 in pool play. After already bringing home 4 tournament championships this season, they continue to set the tone with their energy, ex*****on, and competitive spirit.
Our 7th grade boys have truly grown throughout this season. They started the year facing some challenges, but today they showed just how much they’ve developed — winning both pool play games by 20+ points. Their hard work, resilience, and growth have been great to watch all season long.
Our 11th grade boys stayed hot as well, winning both games today after coming into the weekend with back-to-back tournament championships. They’re playing some of their best basketball at exactly the right time and carrying great momentum into bracket play.
Most importantly, every team in this club competed with heart and represented our program the right way. That’s what makes this group special.
Now it’s time for bracket play tomorrow. One more day. One more opportunity. Let’s finish strong.

Day 1 of the YBOA Super National Qualifier is in the books. We battled against high-level competition across all squads.
We faced some close games, learned some big lessons, and tried our best to stay locked in. Growth doesn’t always show up in the win column—but it’s happening. 💪🏀
