Ride Stronger for Longer w/ Alana Asch, MS. CSCS.
Endurance athletes often push mileage and intensity without realizing how easily underfueling can compromise performance. This talk breaks down Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S), why cyclists are particularly at risk, and how low energy availability impacts power, recovery, hormones, bone health, and long-term durability.
We’ll also cover how strategic strength training supports proper fueling, improves force production and resilience, and helps athletes perform stronger — for longer. You’ll leave with practical tools to fuel smarter and train in a way that sustains both health and performance.
This presentation will focus on women’s performance, but all are welcome to attend!
We hope to see you there!
Email [email protected] if you have any questions.
