Day 5 – What a Week! ⚽️🏆

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Derek Smith Soccer Camp!

We finished the week with our annual Friday Fun Day, packed with squad games, Dutch tournaments, competitions, and plenty of smiles. The campers brought incredible energy and enthusiasm as they competed, encouraged one another, and showed off the skills they developed throughout the week.

More importantly, we saw tremendous growth from Day 1 to Day 5. Confidence on the ball increased, players became more willing to take risks, and friendships were built through the game we all love.

A big congratulations to all of our Squad Award and Player Award winners. These recognitions celebrate not only soccer ability, but also effort, attitude, sportsmanship, and leadership throughout the week.

Thank you to all of our campers, coaches, and families for making this another unforgettable year. Your support and enthusiasm are what make this camp special year after year.

We hope everyone had as much fun as we did. Have a great summer, keep working on your skills, and we look forward to seeing you back on the field soon!

⚽ Day 4 Recap – Jersey Day! ⚽

What a fantastic Day 4 at the Derek Smith Soccer Camp!

Morning Session 🔥
The energy was high from the start as campers continued to build confidence on the ball and put their skills into action. We saw improved decision-making, creativity, and plenty of smiles throughout the morning. The Jersey Day contest was a huge hit, with campers showing off some awesome soccer jerseys from around the world. The excitement is building as we head into our final day!

Afternoon Session 🎯
Our afternoon group focused on striking technique, learning how to generate power, improve accuracy, and finish with confidence. The campers then put those skills to work in a variety of fun shooting games and competitions. The Jersey Day contest brought out some classic kits and sparked great conversations about players, teams, and the game we all love.

We’re excited to wrap up an amazing week with games, competitions, prizes, and plenty of soccer fun. We can’t wait to see everyone finish the camp strong!

Another fantastic day at camp as our players continue to learn, grow, and most importantly, enjoy the game!

☀️ Morning Session
The younger campers brought great energy once again as we continued building fundamental soccer skills through fun, engaging activities and games. Players worked on their ball mastery, coordination, and confidence while competing, learning, and making new friends along the way. The enthusiasm and excitement to play each day has been awesome to see!

🔥 Afternoon Session
Our afternoon group continued to raise the level with great passion, effort, and technical quality throughout the session. Players focused on building their skills and improving their decision-making in game situations. The commitment to learning, willingness to be challenged, and quality of play on display made for another productive day of development.

Three days in and camp is going great! The players are working hard, having fun, and showing improvement every day. We can’t wait to finish the week strong tomorrow!

Another great day of soccer and development at camp!

☀️ Morning Session
The energy was high from start to finish! Campers continued building on the skills introduced on Day 1 while enjoying plenty of fun games and competition. The enthusiasm and excitement to play was evident throughout the session as players challenged themselves, supported their teammates, and embraced every activity with a positive attitude. It’s been great to see their confidence growing each day.

🔥 Afternoon Session
Our older group brought excellent focus and attention to detail. Today’s training centered around first touch, passing technique, and creating passing options off the ball. Players worked hard to improve the quality of their receiving and passing while learning how movement away from the ball can create better opportunities for their teammates. The concentration, effort, and overall quality of play were outstanding throughout the session.

Two days down and the progress is already showing. We’re excited to keep building, learning, and having fun together as camp continues!

What a fantastic start to camp!

Our morning session brought incredible energy from the moment the players stepped onto the field. The campers stayed active throughout the day, learning new skills, competing in fun games, and challenging themselves in a positive environment. It was great to see so many smiles, effort, and enthusiasm as the players worked on their ball mastery, coordination, and creativity.

The afternoon session was equally impressive. This group came focused and ready to learn, showing great attention to detail while building confidence on the ball. Players worked hard on their technical skills, decision-making, and individual moves, while encouraging one another and embracing every challenge.

Day 1 was filled with learning, laughter, and lots of soccer. We are excited to continue building on today’s success and can’t wait to see everyone back for Day 2!
