Huskies had a fun day at the Bluegrass State Games Lexington KY!

Elijah took 1st 🥇 with 2 pins 🧷🧷
Georgeanna took 2nd 🥈 with 1 MD
Brooks took 2nd 🥈 with 1 pin 🧷 & 1 TF
Bobby Dean took 3rd 🥉
Zoey had a really tough bracket but wrestled very hard!

Ultimately it was a great day for our huskies!

Here is some additional information about the Bluegrass State Games tomorrow!

A few reminders for tomorrow's BGSG Wrestling Tournament 🤼🏅:

* Location: Lafayette High School (Lexington, KY)
* Admission: Adults – $5; Students – $3; Children Under 12 – Free
* Morning session (12U and below) starts at approximately 8:30am.
* Afternoon session (14U and above) starts at approximately 12:30pm.
* Brackets will be available Saturday morning at TrackWrestling @ https://bit.ly/2026BGSGWrestlingBrackets
* All brackets will be round robins.
* Top 3 finshers will receive Gold 🥇, Silver 🥈, and Bronze 🥉medals.

Our next Husky Ruffle is Monday! (July 13th)

Here is our practice schedule for the week:
Monday - Husky Ruffle: 4:30-5:15
Open Practice: 5:30-7:00
Tuesday - Open Practice: 5:30-7:00
Thursday - Open Practice: 5:30-7:00

Weigh-ins: Thursday or Friday only at one of the approved locations. No Saturday morning weigh-in. See attached for remote weigh-in locations and times. Proof of age required at weigh-ins (DL, birth certificate, USAW card, AAU card).

Wrestling:
Session 1 - Age 12 & under - 8:30AM EST until completion (please arrive by 7:30AM to allow time for warm-ups)
Session 2 - Age 13 & older - 12:00PM EST until completion
