National Amateur Retriever Club, National Retriever Club, and Master National Retriever Club Member The Wisconsin Amateur Field Trial Club was formed in the late 1930's by a group of outdoor sportsmen with a great interest in their hunting dogs. Their goal was the formation of a group to train hunting dogs, exchange ideas, and maintain and improve the breeds of Retrievers, Springers and Pointers.

We had a few club members accomplish some amazing thing this fall.
Jim and Nancy Bauer had a dog pass in the Master National
We had a few club members who qualified for the National Open:
Matt Miller ran two dogs, Raven and Brees
John Schneider ran Brody
Loran Marmes IV ran with Flash
These are dogs that are running at the top of their sport. Congratulations to all!!

Long time member/board member and grounds chair Carl Matuszeski lost his battle with cancer. Carl was also an 8-point field trial judge, and an avid outdoorsman. Carl gave a lot of his time towards the culb and he will be missed.
