A huge congratulations to the Champions Edge crew who got out there and raced this weekend!

Saturday brought the Mud Run in Auburn, and Sunday we took on the Strength to Serve OCR in Fayetteville.

Whether you completed one race or took on both, you were amazing. You showed up, challenged yourself, supported each other, and put all that training to work where it counts.

70 YEARS OLD. STILL SETTING FIRSTS. 💪🔥

This is Al Brown.

At 70 years young, Al decided this was going to be a year of doing things he hadn't done before.

Earlier this year, he completed his first Spartan Sprint.

Today, he added another first — his first Spartan DEKA STRONG. 👊

But what makes Al special isn't just what he does in competition. He is hands down one of the biggest supporters of our Champions Edge Fitness community. He shows up. He encourages people. He celebrates everyone else's wins. And then he quietly keeps working toward his own.

And he's not done.

Al has more health goals ahead of him, more things he wants to accomplish, and apparently no interest in letting the number 70 tell him what he should or shouldn't be capable of.

This is what we mean when we talk about training for life.

Not just getting stronger for today — but continuing to set goals, chase experiences, and prove that there is always another edge to find.

Great morning putting in some work at the Spartan DEKA STRONG! 🔥💪

A huge thank you to IMPACT-X Performance Sayre for hosting us this morning. You guys put on a great event, and the energy, encouragement, and community throughout the gym made it even better.

There’s something different about DEKA — 10 zones, one goal: keep moving forward. You find out pretty quickly where you’re strong, where you need work, and how much more you have in you when things start getting uncomfortable.
