Another beautiful day at Lukens parkrun as we celebrate the 1 millionth parkrun worldwide AND the 1 millionth finisher of parkrun USA. Who was it? It could have been any one of the 25 finishers we welcomed today, whether it was your first or your 500th!
Let's start off with the 7(!) PBs that we saw today. Well done Devin, Jon, Suzanne, Tristan, Maurice, and John.
And thanks for joining us to our tourists Shana, Sue, and Caroline, who also celebrated her 25th parkrun!
We are so glad that we could welcome 3 first timers as well, Jason, Michael, and Sharon. We hope you had a great time and will see you again soon!
And as always, thanks to everyone who volunteered today, and everyone who cheered each participant on, at this event and the 1 million others that have taken place across the world. It's an honor and a joy to be a part of. We'll see you again next week!

Thanks to all who came out today on what felt like the first real day of summer! It may have been hot, it may have been sweaty, but everyone did an amazing job getting those 5ks today. We also got to welcome 9 first timers to Lukens parkrun, including 5 first time parkrunners anywhere! Thanks so much Megan, Zarena, Chivhun, Laell, and Dr Soko Jeanot for joining us.
We were also happy to welcome Liz from our close friends in NJ D&RC parkrun as well as Harry from across the pond in Norwich, UK. And thanks to Rob and Kathryn for giving us a try for the first time as well. We hope to see you all again soon.
Our own parkwalker today Mary also finished her 25th walk/run milestone. Congratulations for that accomplishment!
And as always we'll end with much appreciation for all the volunteers this week. Thanks everyone for coming out and we'll see you again next weekend!

Wow, what a great day for a parkrun.
The weather was perfect and we get to celebrate 8 PBs today! Well done Scott, Patrick, Elizabeth, Suzanne, Lila, Joseph, John, and Courtney!
On top of that, we had Jaime and Jon both hitting their 100th parkrun milestone. Well done to both of you!
And welcome to our first timers, Phillip, Julianna and friend. We hope you had a good time and hope to see you again soon.
